His sire Imperial Tiger ( a full brother to WEG silver medalist Ardagh Highlight) is by Puissance back to Imperius. Simba is out of a connemara mare by Thunder Storm and her grandsire was Thunderbolt. Plenty of 2 to 4 * eventers and top showjumpers in the family.
